Inc-4

From 23 to 29 April 2024, the fourth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution (INC-4), will take place in Ottawa.

INC-4 marks the penultimate opportunity for the global community to work towards finalizing an international, legally-binding treaty on plastic pollution—a once-in-a-generation moment for governments, communities, stakeholders and businesses to create a world free of plastic pollution. As we approach the treaty negotiation deadline, it is time for momentum, collaboration, and ambitious action to finalize a legally binding treaty.
